Ragged Point

Follow a long track just off the main road and you'll come to the East Point Lighthouse, located at Ragged Point, the most eastern part of Barbados. The lighthouse is one of four and was built in 1875 and is 97 feet tall.

The areas offers good views of the East Coast of the island, there's a couple of beaches to see and also plants and wildlife. Just over the other side of the cliff the water is rough and wild and it's here that you'll get an idea of the energy of the Atlantic Ocean.

For more sheltered beaches go around the coast to Bottom Bay.
