Bathsheba

Bathsheba is located on the East Coast of Barbados and is a completely different experience.If you're searching for hills, forests and unspoilt natural scenery then this is definitely the place for you.Rough Atlantic waters mean that this beach is not for swimming, there are lots of strong undercurrents here, so please take care.

A good start to your day would be to wake up early and watch the sun rise over Bathsheba. Also when the tide is in it's well worth cooling off in one of the natural rock pools.

Surfers come from all around the world every winter to ride a wave called Soup Bowl.Ten times champion Kelly Slater even remarked in his book that he had one of his best days here.

Just be wary though, this isn't a place for beginners.Always make sure you check with the lifeguards on where to paddle out. And also watch out for sea urchins here too, ask a local and they'll see you get our safely.

Saying that, you'll experience one of the most talked about waves in the world, large, fast and clean waves make this an ideal place for short-boarders.

There's a lot to see in Bathsheba, so take a walk around the area and soak up the atmosphere.The see views and incredible scenery this is definitely one place you'll never forget.
