Martins Bay

Just a short drive from Bathsheba and you come to Martins Bay, a small fishing village with a fantastic local vibe.  Years ago there used to be a railway line that ran through here and went all the way to Bridgetown.

The waters here are moderate, so just take care if you venture into the sea for a swim. The area really has a special vibe, old fishing boats line the road and chattel houses are dotted in between coconut trees.

It's a peaceful area and you really feel it's very local, so have a chat to the fishermen; they'll talk you through the catch of the day. This area is known for seafood, especially lobsters, snapper, dolphin and flying fish.
