Welches Beach just a short walk from the historic town of Oistins can now be considered one of the island's best. The beach was once small, due to flooding of the road a construction company was hired to expand the beach and they've done an excellent job.
The waters here are very calm and the area is idea for swimming, however, please note that there are no lifeguards on duty at this beach. This is one of the quietest beaches on the South Coast and is definitely worth a stop.
